Camille and Isabelle were working on a formula inspired by the legendary garden of Hesperides.
During the fragrance’s formulation, they learned of the existence of a private garden in Rome, Italy, called Ninfa, which was virtually identical to their description.
A lush garden through which the river Ninfeo runs, reflecting the bark, citrus fruit and green figs.
They lay down and were overwhelmed to discover that the fragrance they had been perfecting for months was right there, intense, in the air.
Its name was an obvious choice… Ninfeo mio: my Ninfeo.
